The Wiesentäler Water Run took place on April 25. This long-standing charity run follows the course of the Wiese River from Feldberg in Black Forest to Basel and supports a good cause every year.
At this year’s race, ZAHORANSKY supported the students of Oberes Wiesental Elementary School: The young runners covered a total of nearly 240 kilometers. ZAHORANSKY sponsored this fantastic result with 400 euros.
ZAHORANSKY expressly praises the children’s outstanding achievement and emphasizes how wonderful it is to see the dedication and enthusiasm with which even the youngest participants champion physical activity and community.
Several ZAHORANSKY employees also got involved, collectively covering 181 kilometers and thereby raising a total of 181 euros for the good cause.
The proceeds from the Wiesentäler Water Run will benefit the Dikome Cameroon association, which uses the donations to implement water and well projects in Cameroon, thereby improving the supply of clean drinking water in the communities of Dikome and Lokando.
Whether among employees or children, ZAHORANSKY is very proud of the achievements of everyone involved. The Wiesentäler Water Run impressively demonstrates how athletic commitment, team spirit, and social responsibility come together.
