Your tasks:
- Focus on HSC milling:
- Setting up, fixturing, and operating 5-axis HSC milling machines (experience with Röders is an advantage)
- Machining hardened tool steels (52–62 HRC)
- Ensuring tight dimensional and form tolerances in the high-precision sector
- Independent fixturing and dialing in of complex components
- Optimizing milling strategies and machining processes
- Close cooperation with CAM programming and work preparation
- Taking personal responsibility for quality inspection of manufactured components
- Confident handling of coordinate measuring machines and common measuring instruments
- Focus on EDM:
- Setting up and operating sinker EDM machines
- Machining complex contours in tool and mold making
- Ensuring process-stable results
- Participation in technology and process optimization
- Independent quality inspection and documentation
The suitable qualifications are:
- Completed apprenticeship as a precision mechanic, machining mechanic, or equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in tool or mold making
- Experience in HSC milling or EDM
- High quality awareness and a structured way of working
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work in a two-shift system
- Knowledge of CAM (e.g., Siemens NX or equivalent)
- Experience with automation systems
- Knowledge in the respective other technology area
