- Creating programs as well as producing and processing workpieces on numerically controlled machine tools
- Production of shaping tool surfaces
- Design and manufacturing of technical systems for toolmaking
- Modification and adaptation of technical systems for toolmaking
- Materials science, occupational safety and environmental protection
The appropriate qualifications are:
- Secondary school certificate (Hauptschule), intermediate school certificate or comparable qualification
