- Creation of programs as well as creation and processing of workpieces on numerically controlled machine tools
- Production of forming tool surfaces
- Planning and manufacturing of technical systems for tool construction
- Modification and adjustment of technical systems for tool construction
- Materials science, occupational safety, and environmental protection
The appropriate qualifications are:
- Secondary school certificate, intermediate school certificate or comparable qualification
