- Program creation as well as manufacturing and processing of workpieces on numerically controlled machine tools
- Manufacturing of forming tool surfaces
- Planning and production of technical systems for toolmaking
- Modification and adjustment of technical systems in toolmaking
- Materials science, occupational safety, and environmental protection
The appropriate qualifications are:
- Secondary school leaving certificate (Hauptschulabschluss), intermediate school certificate (Mittlere Reife) or equivalent
