The following tasks await you:
- Analysis of a distributed machine architecture with master PLC and a sub-controller
- Design of the coupling (free choice of protocol)
- Development of a communication and data model between the controllers
- Architecture concept for the centralized provisioning of B&R mapp components
- Examination of the real-time behavior as well as the consistent state mapping between the master and sub-controller
- Implementation and validation of the concept in a prototype setup with at least two controllers
The appropriate qualifications are:
- Studies in electrical engineering or automation technology
- Interest in industrial control systems and distributed architectures
- Basic knowledge of B&R Automation Studio is an advantage
- Independent and structured working style
